James L. Bolden, Sr.
James L. Bolden Sr. serves as Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Cambridge Automation, providing strategic leadership and oversight across the company’s mission-aligned professional services portfolio. A veteran of the 101st Airborne Division and the Berlin Brigade, he brings more than 25 years of experience supporting federal, municipal, and commercial organizations.
James has held leadership roles across the aerospace, defense, rail, education and technology sectors, with expertise in operational execution, regulatory environments, and organizational development. Under his leadership, Cambridge Automation has built a reputation for operational excellence, integrity, and dependable mission support.
Dr. James L. Bolden
Dr. James L. Bolden Jr. leads the development and integration of advanced solutions supporting data-driven mission environments. He is responsible for shaping the company’s technology vision and architecture, ensuring alignment between mission requirements and scalable, secure systems.
Senior Manager of Contracts
The Senior Manager of Contracts brings over 15 years of experience in federal contracting, with deep expertise in FAR, DFARS, and full contract lifecycle management across prime and subcontractor execution, including compliance, risk mitigation, and audit readiness aligned with DCAA and DCMA requirements. This role ensures contract administration and program execution remain fully compliant with federal acquisition regulations.
Senior Manager of Accounting and Finance
Our Senior Manager of Accounting and Finance brings more than two decades of cost accounting and financial management experience across defense manufacturing, semiconductor, and technology sectors. Expertise includes audit-compliant systems, standard costing, variance analysis, and indirect rate structures, extending into financial reporting, budgeting support, internal controls, and account reconciliation. Her background includes hands-on experience leading ERP system implementations and conversions, including SAP, along with managing SOX and internal/external audit support across multiple annual cycles. Her role oversees cost accounting practices, financial reporting, and compliance with federal acquisition regulations, ensuring accurate cost allocation, effective indirect rate management, and sound financial controls.
Senior Marketing and Capture Manager
Our Marketing and Capture Manager brings more than 20 years of experience driving measurable revenue growth through integrated marketing, brand strategy, and digital execution across e-commerce, technology, financial services, and consumer sectors. Her background includes managing multi-million-dollar marketing budgets that generated hundreds of millions in annual revenue, leading full-scale brand launches and website builds from the ground up, and driving triple-digit revenue growth through targeted, cross-channel campaigns. Experience spans the full marketing lifecycle and brand positioning, digital and performance marketing, public relations, crisis communications, and sales enablement with a consistent track record of translating strategy into measurable outcomes.
Senior Technical Manager
Our Senior Technical Manager is a Marine Corps veteran with an active Top Secret clearance and more than 20 years of Department of Defense program management experience across federal and private-sector environments. His background includes directing multi-million-dollar IT modernization programs, leading cross-functional teams of engineers, developers, and cybersecurity SMEs, and delivering cloud-enabled solutions in compliance with NIST, CMMI Level 3, and DoD Risk Management Framework standards. Experience spans the full technical program lifecycle, including Integrated Master Schedules, earned value management, DevSecOps pipeline deployment, and cybersecurity accreditation (ATO) processes, alongside direct support to Navy modernization initiatives. His role also brings hands-on capture and business development experience, having contributed to technical volumes, pricing strategy, and proposal compliance on major DoD program pursuits. A PMP-certified Project Management Professional with a Master's in Business and Government from Harvard University, the Senior Technical Manager combines technical program leadership with strategic business development to drive mission-critical outcomes.
