Cost/Price Analyst (Senior)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Cost/Price Analyst (Senior) is responsible for executing and supporting acquisition and contracting functions across Department of Defense (DoD) programs, including ISR and C5ISR systems. This role ensures compliant, efficient, and mission-aligned acquisition execution across the full lifecycle of procurement, directly supporting national security objectives.

This position operates at the intersection of acquisition strategy, contract execution, and mission delivery, ensuring that critical defense programs are supported with precision, compliance, and operational effectiveness.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Acquisition Planning & Execution

  • Support full acquisition lifecycle from requirements definition through contract closeout
  • Develop acquisition strategies, procurement packages, and contract documentation
  • Ensure alignment with DoD acquisition frameworks and mission requirements
  • Support contract awards, modifications, and administration activities

Cost, Pricing & Financial Analysis

  • Perform cost and price analysis including IGCE development and proposal evaluation
  • Support negotiations and pricing strategy development
  • Evaluate cost realism, reasonableness, and compliance with regulations

Stakeholder & Customer Engagement

  • Coordinate with Contracting Officers, Program Managers, CORs, and Government stakeholders
  • Support source selections, evaluation boards, and procurement reviews
  • Prepare acquisition briefings, reports, and documentation

Compliance, Risk & Audit Support

  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific regulations
  • Identify, track, and mitigate acquisition risks
  • Support audits and reviews (DCAA, DCMA, internal compliance)

Program & Operational Support

  • Support program execution through acquisition planning and contract oversight
  • Assist in proposal development and capture activities
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance acquisition efficiency


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • May provide oversight, mentorship, or guidance to junior personnel depending on role level


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Contracts, or related field
  • 3–15+ years of experience depending on role level in DoD or federal acquisition
  • Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and federal procurement regulations
  • Experience supporting contract execution, pricing, or acquisition activities
  • Active Secret Clearance (Required), TS/SCI with Polygraph (Preferred)
  • U.S. Citizenship required


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • DAWIA, FAC-C, or equivalent certification
  • Experience supporting ISR, C5ISR, or intelligence programs
  • Experience in classified environments
  • Master’s degree in related field
  • Experience with source selection, pricing, or contract closeout

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position may operate Remote /Hybrid / on-site, secure facility, or classified environments depending on mission requirements.

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $130,000 – $165,000+ annually (commensurate with experience and clearance)


ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS

  • Position is contingent upon contract award 
  • May require Letter of Commitment
  • Employment dependent on contract funding and customer approval
