Cost/Price Analyst (Mid-Level)
Cambridge Automation is seeking a Cost/Price Analyst (Mid-Level) to support complex ISR and C5ISR programs supporting the United States Army, United States Navy, and United States Marine Corps. Lead mission-critical acquisition efforts shaping real-world national security operations.
This is not a back-office role, this is frontline acquisition execution with direct mission impact, high visibility with Government stakeholders, and ownership of real-world outcomes.
You’ll operate at the intersection of:
- Advanced defense technologies
- Federal acquisition and contracting
- Mission execution and operational support
What You’ll Do
Acquisition Execution
- Support full acquisition lifecycle (planning → solicitation → award → execution → closeout)
- Develop acquisition documentation, procurement strategies, and contract packages
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and DoD acquisition frameworks
Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as interface to Contracting Officers, Program Managers, and Government stakeholders
- Support program reviews, acquisition briefings, and procurement milestones
- Build strong customer relationships and proactively manage risk
Cost & Pricing
- Support cost/price analysis, IGCE development, and proposal evaluations
- Assist with negotiations and contract modifications
- Analyze cost drivers, financial risks, and contract performance
Operational Support
- Support program execution through acquisition planning and contract management
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineers and analysts
- Ensure timely delivery of contractual requirements
Compliance & Risk
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and federal acquisition regulations
- Identify, track, and mitigate acquisition risks
- Support audits, reviews, and procurement assessments
What You Bring
- Active Secret Clearance (Required), TS/SCI with Polygraph (Preferred)
- Experience in DoD acquisition, contracting, or procurement
- Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and acquisition processes
- Experience supporting ISR, C5ISR, or defense programs
- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field)
Preferred
- DAWIA or FAC-C certification
- Experience supporting Army, Navy, Marine Corps, or Joint programs
- Experience with cost/price analysis or source selection
- Master’s degree

- Salary Range: $130,000 – $165,000+ annually

Work Environment
- Location: APG, MD or California (NIWC Pacific / NAVWAR / NAWCWD)
- Remote /Hybrid / on-site based on mission requirements

Pay Transparency (California Requirement)
The salary range for this position is $130,000 – $165,000+.
Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, clearance level, location, and business needs.
